At Temple Aesthetics we can offer you treatments with Restylane^®, a temporary dermal filler which provides an instant, anti-wrinkle treatment to help you look younger naturally. Restylane^® is known for its safety, efficacy and long-standing results. It works by replenishing the level of hyaluronic acid in the skin, thus immediately softening lines and wrinkles.

Restylane^® is injected into the skin to deliver action where it is needed. It boosts the skin’s hydration system and replenishes the skin to restore youthful volume and delay the signs of ageing.

Restylane^® is injected with a very fine needle during a comfortable procedure that requires no downtime. Results are immediate and you should expect to return to the office with natural appearing, softer facial contours and a revitalized appearance. The product is biodegradable and based on hyaluronic acid, which closely resembles the same substance that occurs naturally in the body.

There are 5 basic formulations of the Restylane^® range, some of which have recently been adapted for greater comfort and include lidocaine .

At Temple Aesthetics we use Restylane^® for the following treatments:

Correction of wrinkles and scar tissue
Treating fine lines and delaying the appearance of wrinkles
Remodelling the cheekbones and chin
Contouring the face and mouth
Enhancing the contours and increasing the volume of the lips

The Restylane Vital ^TM range is used to achieve good skin quality and texture. It can be seen as a form of skin nutrition improving skin elasticity and smoothness and leaving the skin looking hydrated and toned.

The recommended course is for 3 treatments 2 weeks apart and then refreshed every 6 months.

How long does treatment last?

Restylane^® is a non-permanent treatment. Recent clinical studies show that top-up treatments prolong duration to around eighteen months. Top-up treatments are recommended after 6-12 months for facial lines and facial shaping, after 6 months for lip enhancement and around every 6 months for skin revitalization, after an initial intense treatment of 3 sessions 2-3 weeks apart.

Is treatment painful?

Restylane and Restylane Perlane contain pain-reducing lidocaine for a comfortable treatment experience.

What is Restylane^®?

All skin injection procedures carry a small risk of infection.
