Skin Rehydration – quench your skin’s thirst

The natural levels of hyaluronic acid decrease with age and this causes a loss of skin tone and firmness. Over exposure to the sun causes fine crepy lines These can be particularly prominent on the neck, décolletage, face and backs of hands. Although creams and lotions can help rehydrate the skin, there is a limit to how much the skin texture and quality can rapidly be improved. In order to cause deeper hydration and maintain moisturisation  within the skin, we need to replace the hyaluronic acid within the epidermis of the skin.

Each of the dermal filler ranges that are used at Temple Aesthetics has  specially formulated products that will provide a fast and effective skin revitalisation treatment

The Restylane Vital ^TM range is used to achieve good skin quality and texture. It can be seen as a form of skin nutrition improving skin elasticity and smoothness and leaving the skin looking hydrated and toned. There are 2 formulations:

Restylane Vital ^TM : It is perfect for sun damaged skin on the face, hands and décolletage.

Restylane Vital ^TM Light :this is ideal for thin and delicate skin where there is loss in skin firmness and tone. It is perfect for upper face, décolletage, neck and lip hydration.

The recommended course is for 3 treatments 2 weeks apart and then refreshed every 6 months

TEOSYAL^® Meso: rehydration of the dermis and revitalisation of the full face, neck and décolletage. Course of 2-3 treatments within 2-4 weeks and then maintenance every 2-3 months to keep hydrated skin

Juvederm ^® HYDRATE improves the skin hydration and elasticity which is fundamental to maintain healthy skin tone. It works particularly well on the face, neck, décolletage and hands. A course of 3 treatments 2 weeks apart can lead to 95% improvement in skin hydration within 2 months

Combination treatments

By combining different treatments, at Temple Aesthetics we can achieve better results than with each treatment individually

Gel Lift

An exciting new combination treatment is called the “Gel lift”. This involves using hydrating dermal fillers (Juvederm ® Hydrate/ Teosyal meso ®/ Restylane Vital ®) either at the same treatment as the dermaroller or shortly afterwards. The synergistic effect of both these treatments gives better results than either of these treatments alone (sort of like 1+1= 3) . At Temple Aesthetics, we recommend having a course of 3 “Gel Lift”  procedures, each separated by 6-8 weeks. This has the effect of smoothing and plumping the skin, ironing out the fine lines and wrinkles. The effects can be felt from 2 weeks after treatment and the real benefits start to become obvious from 6 weeks, with continued improvement over the following six months.
